I'm really not familiar with the Eragon books having only seen the movie but my sister is a huge fan. From what she told me about Murtagh this was really how I pictured him, far more then how he was portrayed in the movie. Not quite so dark and broody, more just a kid that's unsure of who he is and stuck almost in the middle. Of course, like I said I haven't read the books, so this assessment of him could be way off.

2:

Group shots are really hard to pull off and not look weird but Aralc pulls this one off with style! The characters aren't crowed, the poses all look natural and there's really some depth in this piece that makes me feel like I'm flipping through a camp memory book and seeing photos from one of the sessions!
3:

I love how stylized this piece is. Everything about it is very simple but that just makes it stand out even more! And I really like the sense of motion she gave with Sophie's skirts blowing around and Howl's hair!
4:

The sense of motion in this drawing is amazing and it goes really, really well with the backdrop! I also love the intense expression on the dancer's face!
5:

The simple, clean lines on this line-art just blow me away! I also love the casual posing of the hand, the whole tilt and angle just drive home the fact that she's relaxed and calm.
Be sure to check out the rest of Aralc's gallery! She's really a talented artist with a lot of fun, colorful pieces in a whole variety of styles and fandoms.

I won't lie, I LOVE this movie and Aethereium managed to perfectly capture one of the scenes that I think would have happened after the movie. Jim and his faithful first mate having a quiet moment before they launch back into taking on the whole universe again! Plus her style and coloring is just amazing and really adds a lot of depth and life to the characters!
2:

While this isn't my favorite Disney movie I always thought Audrey, Vinny and Dr. Sweet were some of the coolest characters Disney has ever made PERIOD! This graphite drawing really captures a lot of the spunk and style that Audrey had in her and I love it! She's sassy, she's talented and she's got a wrench...best not mess with Audrey

3:

I have long maintained that given the small size of the '"Treasure Planet" fandom that Jim Hawkins is the most Mary Sue'd character EVER created and this piece...kind of proves me right. Aethereium beautifully satires most of the scariest Mary Sue traits ever created and gives us an ending that EVERY serious OC writer would relate too!
4:

I'm really not an Ariel/Jim shipper but this piece is so gorgeous it just might convert me! I love the lighting and the way it looks like it almost could be a screen shot from a TV show or a movie!
5:

The perfect combo---a really good piece of art and a really good story! You can't go wrong! The story really is sweet and touching and the art is just amazing. Her lighting style and the expressions and poses tell a whole story in and of themselves!
Be sure to check out her whole gallery! Aethereium has a fantastic style, especially in coloring, and she's got this really nice, neat approach to laying out each picture so that they just come to life and bounce off of the page!

This drawing just captures all of the magic and mystery that the Japanese version of this movie trailer promises! I love the look on Meridith's face and I really love how the little blue orb is glowing and reflecting in her eyes. For being her first try at Photo Shop Captain Feline did amazingly!
2:

This is a scene I really think they should have touched on in the movie. No one looses their best friend and just carries on like everything's perfectly fine. Captain Feline really captures all of the doubts, grief and despair that Amelia probably felt after loosing Arrow who was, literally and figuratively, her rock.
3:

First off...I love the green. How come Disney princesses never wear green? And I love the expressions on their faces...somehow I think these two might be having a relationship similar to Hiccup and his father Stoick from "How to Train your Dragon". Either way I share Captain's feelings in that I can't wait to see it!
4:

Easily one of the most tragic stories in the original "FullMetal Alchemist" anime Captain Feline really captures the main players and the unspoken issues of this storyline perfectly! Just the expressions on Ed and Izumi's faces say far more then words ever will.
5:

Sora with an eyepatch...now I'm wondering how he GOT that. I love the expressions here...Sora's big grin is so cute next to Jim's bewilderment.

I also love the coloring...paint isn't always a friendly medium but she did a lovely job with it!
Be sure to click the link and check out her gallery! It's loaded to the gills with cute and fascinating fan-art! -goes searching through it for an explanation of Sora's eyepatch-
Until next time enjoy the features and check out the artists!
